Dennis Daniels ( Project Supervisor / Designer )
    Project supervisor at Sparta Trades, Dennis is responsible for the installation phase of our kitchen and bath projects. A Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) with more than 30 years' experience, Dennis works directly with our installers in the field. His experience and attention to detail enables him to anticipate the complex sequence of steps in the installation process and resolve issues before they can become problems. Dennis also works with clients, addressing questions and concerns as they arise. His work is critical to a successful project. His hobbies include landscaping and volunteer work in his community.

Lorna Aho ( Designer )
    Lorna is a certified kitchen designer (CKD) since 1993. Unlike the computer generated drawings you'll often see, Lorna's drawings are all hand drawn. This helps our clients to visualize the project, including intricate door styles, woodcarvings, architectural features and all the room finishes. Thus our client’s expectations are then based in reality, and accurate communication on changes etc. can ensue. She has been given a design award for Cooking Light Kitchen magazine in 1996 as well as the NKBA's Excellence in design competition. Lorna has also served as a judge for NKBA's design contest in October 2003.

Robin ( Designer )
    Really works hard to make sure clients are happy and that Sparta Trades kitchens and baths looks good in the showroom. Very pleasant to work with and has some great design ideas.. Her two daughters are the loves of her life.

Hans ( Installer )
    Those who are familiar with Hans' work have described him as a "Master Craftsman". Hans has over 35 years experience in carpentry and has been working with Sparta Trades since 1983. He takes great pride in his work and it is his experience and artistry that makes his work impeccable. His professionalism and integrity make clients comfortable with him working in their home. In his spare time Hans enjoys hunting and fishing.

Shiela La Viola ( Sales / Accounting )
    Sheila has worked in Sales and Accounting at Sparta Trades since 1990 and is experienced in most phases of Sparta Trades' operations. Sheila's financial dealings with installers and vendors makes it possible for Sparta Trades to offer its clients "one stop shopping". Her work also ensures that materials for projects arrive in a timely manner. Sheila enjoys cooking and gardening in her free time.

Ed ( Installer )
    As one of our top installers with over 30 years in the field, Ed is experienced in all phases of kitchen and bathroom installation. His work, executed with precision and attention to detail, is in high demand. He is truly an artist and a tremendous asset to Sparta Trades. Ed works cleanly and efficiently and is adept in keeping projects on schedule. He has been working with Sparta Trades since 1985. Ed likes to play golf and go skiing when he has free time

Bill ( Framing )
    Has been doing heavy construction framing - Skylights etc. For over 30 years. Excellent craftsman and can really do the tough jobs. Father of two children, one who works with him today. His wife has a wonderful clothing shop for women.

Judy Radl ( Project Support )
    Judy has been with Sparta Trades since 1999. Her keen organizational skills and positive attitude make her not only a pleasure to work with, but also a vital asset to the entire Sparta Trades team. Judy is responsible for setting up contracts, organizing material deliveries to job sites, and ensuring that projects run smoothly. Her contact with manufacturers and vendors assures Sparta Trades access to the latest kitchen and bath products in the industry. Judy's hobbies include cooking, reading and floral design.

Chet Basher ( Owner / Designer / Sales )
    Owner of Sparta Trades Kitchens and Baths, Chet is a certified kitchen designer (CKD) and a certified bathroom designer (CBD) with over 35 years of experience. His experience and knowledge have helped him fine tune Sparta Trades' operations so that clients have access to only quality materials and are offered the highest level of service, including installation by professionals that are among the best in the industry. Chet's easy going style immediately puts clients at ease and helps him to create positive working relationships with them. His designs have met and exceeded the expectations of clients for over three decades. That explains why most new clients come to Sparta Trades as referrals from satisfied customers! Chet currently serves as Chairman of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Dealers Association New Jersey and as Chairman of the New Jersey NKBA Long Range Planning Board. He also gives numerous seminars on kitchen and bath design, construction and renovation. His designs and articles have appeared in a variety of consumer and trade publications. In his free time Chet enjoys traveling, biking, tennis, sailing, skiing and hiking.

Jeff ( Tile Expert )
    A real artist with tile and problem solving with tile walls, floors, steam showers, seats in showers etc. A first class craftsman with 20 + years experience.

Justin ( Demolition )
    Justin has been with Sparta Trades since 1992 and it is his job to prepare your kitchen or bathroom for the installation phase of the project. He removes all old fixtures and clears debris from your work area, taking great care when working in your home by laying tarps on the floor and hanging plastic in doorways to keep dust to a minimum. Justin is a hard working, highly motivated member of the Sparta Trades' team who, working between two jobs, is renovating his recently purchased home.

Stephan ( Electrician )
    Stephan comes to Sparta Trades with over 15 years of experience as a licensed electrician who is well versed in the most up to date electrical codes. He is knowledgeable and skillful in assisting clients with lighting decisions and knows that the right lighting is important to compliment and enhance a newly remodeled space such as a new kitchen or bathroom. His ideas take in to account a family's needs and how the space will be utilized, then makes suggestions to achieve optimum task lighting in addition to creating a warm and inviting enviornment. His work always meets or exceeds state requirements ensuring safety in your home and client satisfaction.

Will ( Sheetrock / Spackler )
    First Class sheetrock / spackler with over 40 years of experience.
Always wants to do the best job possible. A good sense of humor and always wants to make the client happy.

Steve Pisauro  ( Plumber )
    Excellent plumber and craftsman with over 20 years of experience in all phases of plumbing and heating.  His 2 sons are the love of his life – when time permits, he likes to ski and bike with his wife.  You will appreciate his workmanship and personality.

Don ( Installer )
    Specializing in finishing work, Don has been an installer with Sparta Trades since 1980. Don requires much of himself as is evident in the high quality of his work. His exactness and attention to minute details is appreciated by our clients, particularly when he is hanging kitchen cabinetry, replacing mouldings in a library or installing an intricate mosaic tile floor in a bathroom. Don can do it all! In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, sailing and working on his own home.

Andrea Durna ( Sales / Interior Designer )
    The newest member of the Sparta Trades team, Andrea joins us as an Interior Designer. She has a degree in Interior Design from Centenary College as well as studying Color, Design and Architecture from Berkeley College. Andrea specializes in Kitchen and Bath design , construction, product and color. Designer with lots of flair - Really enjoys coming up with the right ideas for the client. Loves to work with people. Married to a chef, she has done her own kitchen and has solid experience in the real world of getting projects completed on time - on budget. The love of her life is her young son.

Mike ( Installer )
    As a young boy Mike enjoyed working with his hands, a gift that he still enjoys today. Mike is a local family man who loves spending time with his new granddaughter. In his spare time he enjoys bike rides and hiking with his wife Katherine. Mike is a responsible, professional man that we are happy to have as part of our Sparta Trades team.
