Call for an initial appointment at Sparta Trades Kitchens and Baths. Everyone involved in the decision-making should bring a few photos and rough measurements of your project space, along with any magazine clippings of rooms, products or styles you like.
At the first appointment, a Sparta Trades Kitchens and Baths designer will give you some rough ideas concerning design, color selections, material, budget and schedule. There is no charge for this time and service. Next, we will visit your home to confirm sizes and check job conditions. This step requires a retainer, and will result in a design, plan, budget and schedule. The retainer will be credited toward your project.
Next, final material and color selections are made, schedules are set up, and the budget is finalized. In accordance with New Jersey Code, a contract is signed (see Kitchen and Bath Contracts), and a deposit paid to Sparta Trades Kitchens and Baths before materials are ordered.
Before the project actually begins, Sparta Trades Kitchens and Baths applies for necessary permits, and the job supervisor coordinates schedules. Dumpster locations are determined, and the start date is finalized.
